Do a portrait study of someone that you know personally. Choose someone close to you as subject, since the painting must reflect the person's personality as well as your relationship with him/her.
Journalwork:
- Give a description of this person and supply reasons for choosing him/her as subject.
- Make 3 drawings of this person. The drawings can be any size larger than A4 and you may use any drawing media.
- Take a set of your own pictures of the person you chose as subject for your painting. Think of elements like body language, clothing style, the influence of the background and props that will portray the message of the painting.

I've decided to use my sister as a subject. I came up with insane ideas while brainstorming and simply can't wait to get started on this project.
